Set of 4 Cactus Cups

This set of 4 cups from the artisan barrios of Tonalá.  With a raw exterior, this high temperature fired ceramic piece, is rustic and dishwasher safe.  

In an afternoon break during a long day in the studio, designer Brittney Borjeson was served a much needed and curious cup of coffee. The vintage mug, consumed in a floral glaze pattern and cactus details, had been passed down through the artisan family. She asked about history of the piece.  The family showed her a collection from their grandparents generation. From a cross-section of cultures, our Alta collection was born. With roots in that tradition, these pieces offer a modern simplicity and discernment coupled with time old tradition. 

Each piece is hand crafted with the love of many generations.
